After two years fighting for the title, the Gunners aim to make the final leap in quality

Arsenal begins the 2024/2025 season with renewed ambitions. The past two years, which saw Mikel Arteta's Gunners battling Manchester City for the Premier League title until the end, have shown significant progress compared to previous seasons.

Arsenal has always stood out for its high-quality play, relying on talented and valuable young players over the years. However, they have always missed that final step to achieve something concrete, such as lifting a trophy. The Premier League has now become an attainable goal, as Arteta's team has a well-defined playing identity.

The challenge remains facing a powerhouse that leaves nothing behind. Pep Guardiola's Manchester City will once again be the favourite to win the Premier League next season. However, the London club is always close behind and ready to fight to the end once more. Meanwhile, the league schedule has given Arteta's men a manageable start: Wolverhampton at home, Aston Villa away, and Brighton again at the Emirates, before the North London derby against Tottenham and the direct clash with Manchester City on the fifth matchday (scheduled for Sunday, September 22, at 5:30 PM).
